Dr. Jacquie Cobb is the President of SCCR. She’s been involved in dog rescue for over 16 years.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University and her Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. She has two rescue dogs, Dan (a lab/golden/great pyranees mix) and Frank (a Great Dane) who are the best dogs EVER!  She also has a rescue cat named Lloyd.  Her favorite things to do (other than rescuing dogs of course) are cooking, traveling, and spending time with her permanent fiance, Bill. Her favorite part about rescue is evaluating the dogs at animal control and taking them out, on to their new & improved lives!

She graduated from Barat College in Lake Forest and recently retired as President of Best Travel where she enjoyed a long career before the company was sold in 2014. Judy has 3 rescue dogs, and while she loves ALL dogs, her favorites are little fluffy white ones! Other than dog rescue, Judy’s other passion is traveling the world and having adventures with her husband Larry. The best part of dog rescue for Judy is visiting shelters and selecting dogs to be part of the SCCR adoption program.
