Adoptable Dogs

Hi, my name is Elle, and I’m an 8 year old who is ready to find my next forever family. Recently rescued by SCCR after my owner passed away in Alabama, I’m looking for a new family to call my own. After 8 years with my last owner, I built a strong bond that leads to some separation anxiety currently, but I know I’ll settle in nicely once I get used to having a consistent family again.

Fun fact about me – I only have vision in one eye. My vision doesn’t stop me from enjoying life, but it does spook me when people come into my blind spot. And it means my other spidey senses are heightened. I love to use my nose to sniff out other dogs and animals and will let you know when I find one with my melodic bay.

The perfect forever home would take me on a daily walk to get all my sniffs and exercise. I’m a fast learner and already know sit, shake, come and paw. My foster leaves me to free roam of the house when she leaves since I fear confined places like crates. I am a good girl and don’t ruin anything though!
