In honor of Luke Perry’s recent passing, Kelly Taylor is named after one of the love interests of Mr. Perry’s character (Dylan McKay) on the 90’s teen drama, "Beverly Hills 90210.” But there is no drama with this little Corgi mix. At 18 pounds, Kelly Taylor is sized just right for lap cuddles, pets and stealing the show.

Kelly Taylor (or KT, as her friends call her) is working on potty training. She will ring the bell or bark to be let out and loves exploring the back yard with her sister, Brenda Walsh. The sights, the sun, the smells…pure bliss.

When she’s not napping on the sofa or on you, KT is content napping in her crate. Still a puppy at 9 months old, this starlet will need positive reinforcement training to help her walk on a leash and to learn which items are for chewing. And, she has had a lot of changes recently — moving up from Alabama is a big deal! Strange and loud noises can still be scary so KT would appreciate a family who will give her lots of love and reassurance.

More than just a pretty face, this Hollywood star-turned-lifestyle guru is an accomplished decorator. A few more toys here. A few more toys there. This one has too much stuffing – I’ll fix that. Done. She and her partner (and sister) Brenda Walsh will have your place covered in toys in no time! Watch for her home décor line in Target soon!

Described by her foster mom as “a huge cuddle bug” who “loves to be loved,” Kelly Taylor will steal your toys and your heart. Come meet KT, her sister Brenda Walsh, and all the dogs Saturday.

Please check our events page at http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org to find where this dog may be shown this weekend. If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must send an application or email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org prior to a Saturday Adoption Event so we know you plan on attending. If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. 🙂

The breed or breed mix listed for each dog is simply a guess. The profile software program requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals.

Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near Chicagoland... we are sorry but we cannot accept any out of state applications. We look forward to speaking with you!
