Pit Bull TerrierView Rae on Petfinder
Fin and Rae are named after Star Wars characters (the spelling is changed to meet SCCR rules not to use the same name twice). Their namesakes are brave and smart, ready to bring a new order of peace to the galaxy. So, too, will these well-behaved pups bring a fresh sense of purpose and delight to your life. Since they are still young and easily adaptable, they may go to separate homes. Surrendered by their Chicago owner due to financial hardship, these siblings are sweet as pie. Fin, the male, weighs about 30 pounds, and female Rae weighs 20 pounds, but at five months, both are still growing. Fin is super quiet and chill while Rae has more puppy energy. As you can see, both are darling, with glossy black fur, white chest patches that look like jigsaw puzzle pieces, and those irresistible Flying Nun ears. Both Fin and Rae are playful and friendly and happily provide kisses in exchange for good ear scratches. They get along well with the resident dogs in their foster home and have exhibited no aggression. They are crate-trained and doing well with housebreaking. Could you use an ally in your life? Someone determined to fight for truth and peace? Someone full of play, energy, and love? Come meet Fin and Rae this weekend and see if they can bring a new order to your galaxy. Please check our events page at http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org to find where this dog may be shown this weekend. If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must send an application or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to a Saturday Adoption Event so we know you plan on attending. If we do not receive any communication from you, the dog may be adopted out at our event prior to 12 pm if the perfect home comes along. 🙂 The breed or breed mix listed for each dog is simply a guess. The profile software program requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. However, visual breed identification is unreliable. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog’s individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess. Dogs are individuals. Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near Chicagoland... we are sorry but we cannot accept any out of state applications. We look forward to speaking with you!
